There was plenty of experimentation with these ultra-rare versions of cards for a while, and Wizards of the Coast landed on a Headliner system, where one card from a new release gets the royal treatment as the signpost card of the set, complete with extremely rare serialized versions found only in collector boosters
It started as a traditional Donate deck, then was a Lifegain deck, an Enduring Ideal combo deck, Coin Flip, even briefly Goat Tribal, but I always came back to that original design of just giving away bad stuff to my opponents while stealing their good stuff
however, its not difficult to find ungraded versions of this card for $40 at the moment
